| 12 | Major problems/prospects | Almost all the weaving & other process is the conventional one. The main problem is faced by the industries is regarding the acute power cut due to which they have high manufacturing cost per unit. There is a total absence of scientific and professional system of management. The working conditions of the labor are poor and even hazardous to their health. Most of entrepreneur have no awareness about the access to export market and totally depends of brokers/traders In the cluster weaving is the family business & the weavers found very difficult to survive because of fluctuation of price & no order. Most of the Industries & Entrepreneurs are showing their unwillingness to avail Govt. subsidies because volume of initial investment is very high. Banks are not ready to provide the loan to the entrepreneurs even though they are ready to mortgage their m/c. Labor is available easily but the problem is that they are unskilled & because of which production rate is low. |
